Backroads of Appalachia
The Special Operations Adventure Foundation is proud to partner with Backroads of Appalachia to provide unforgettable, adrenaline-fueled experiences for Special Operations veterans from their world-class facility in eastern Kentucky. Programs include guided overlanding expeditions in high-performance side-by-sides, adventure motorcycle training and multi-day backcountry expeditions, and professional rally car instruction designed to build confidence, sharpen decision-making under pressure, and create lasting camaraderie.
We fully intend to continue participating in future Appalachian 1000 events and are exploring the possibility of establishing an East Coast base of operations alongside Backroads of Appalachia.
