The retreat
Women who served alongside America's special operations forces are one of the smallest, most overlooked veteran communities in the nation. They served in high-risk environments through two decades of war, yet many return home carrying experiences few truly understand—and with little opportunity to reconnect with others who have walked the same path.
The Special Operations Adventure Foundation is uniquely positioned to change that. Founded and led by former Special Operations personnel, we understand the challenges of transitioning from service firsthand. Our trusted network within the Special Operations community allows us to reach these remarkable women and bring them together in a way that few organizations can.
Who it's for
Women who served in Special Operations roles. Programs are open to anyone with verifiable service in a Special Operations Command (SOCOM) unit — operators and support personnel alike.
The experience
Centered around mountain biking and surrounded by the beauty of Colorado's high country, participants will push themselves through thrilling outdoor experiences while building meaningful bonds with women who truly understand their journey. More than just a retreat, this is the beginning of a lifelong community. Every woman who attends leaves knowing one powerful truth: she is never alone.
